callsign
An amateur radio callsign is a station identification assigned to a licensed operator by the licensing authority in a particular country or jurisdiction.
Amateur radio callsigns are considered to be globally unique.
Used with a numerical SSID, the callsign makes up part of a APRS station identifier for those stations that transmit over the airwaves.
